Point-2-Ponder/Ver. 24.80721

The goal of this series of regular posts, until further notice, is to offer up for consideration points for contemplation represented by topical cognitive development.?This differs from submitting for consideration an ideal in which adoption or debate ensues.??As has been our thinking from the onset it’s not about creating adopters but developing mindsets, on your terms in such a way that respectful dialog can occur.?Without this cognitive development we are left with fact less and often emotional contention that polarizes not grows societal development.

Even the most active and creative thinkers have their moments.?As is often the case though occurs as a result of some form of environmental stimulus.?It may be the result of events, discussions, or that lingering thought that for some reason has come to the surface.?It’s this ebb and flow in discernment that creates points-to-ponder (P2P).?

  • Living an orderly lifestyle.?Personally I find it useful to me in several ways.?Regularly breeds efficiency and produces comparable consistency.?It takes some of the burden off of thinking and allows for thought to be redirected to other areas of interest.??However order brings with it an exposure to disruption caused by disorder or those that you are in regular contact with that unknowingly challenge your order.?Order requires anticipatory preparations that produce adaptive responses.?It is also important to realize that order can degenerate over time as a result of personal uncontrolled situations or the result of a loss of orderly value.
  • Conditions viewed as constraints restrain adaptive thinking and the array of options available.?A constraint is considered an inhibitor but it can be more positively considered as a condition.?In this case the situation can then be accommodated rather than treated as a barrier.
  • Jumping on a bandwagon is often characterized by wants of inclusion and identification.?When you lack self-identity, usually the result of self-confidence, we often opt for group associations.?Aside from those initiating the endeavor/cause who often have personal reasons (not always rational or valid) commitments of others becomes entirely based upon personal emotions (or shared public emotions of others when we don’t have anything other than feelings).?Those outside the sphere are equally capable of opinions and not always factual based.?The result is disruption which has all of the elements to make them destructive.
  • The latest ploy is words of compassion and caring which are used as a thin veneer for persuading/convincing people to follow that ultimately gives way to a change in value mindsets.?It is disingenuous and personally disrespectful.?Those creating such a spin are using misunderstanding to create a challenge to norms.?To spike a person’s curiosity to consider that their norms were or have not been correct.?It makes thinkers into fools and fools into thinkers, or so they think.?This means that new norms are adopted but they really aren’t new but a sinister ploy to persuade the adoption of the ideals of a regime in a cunning and covert way.
  • There is a principal called the 5 Why’s.?Each time we arrive at an answer we again ask Why.?Each successive examine results in more and more definitive arrival at root cause factors.?Is the entangled story of Covid19 a story driven by a sinister plot??We have an abundance of factual statements (totally true, partial so, contextual valid, conjecture and speculative).?It is so prolific and diverse that it is seemingly impossible to get the big picture which leaves us all in a state of confusion (a state welcomed by those who are manipulative).??To make matters more confusing there are elements that have been put forth that are no longer mentioned, why???It would appear that not only are we confused but it is more troubling that we don’t know what to expect next.??A very advantageous position for those who are filling the puppet master role, if there is such a situation taking place.?
  • Ownership (taken from a posted question) is a strange beast.?It can give off power, command, and relate to responsibilities.?What separates the crowd is when ownership obligations come into question when conditions turn adverse.?One cannot conceptually infer ownership as being communal unless the group is willing to suffer the consequences.?Unity was once thought of as a strength but in today’s setting unity has become a hiding place for the weak or those that lack motivation to endure or be personally accountable/productive.??We all own our destiny, yet failures are conveniently blamed on others.?This reflects a deferral of ownership.??Are you an owner in a positive, responsible and recognizable way?
