Do you sometimes need a quiet space, somewhere to get away, to sit and contemplate to decide on your fate (or maybe there is no decision to be made if the future is predetermined). I sometimes need that quiet space and I’m not talking about a physical place, I’m referring to a place in mind, where I can quietly sort out many aspects of life. Yes, this beautiful mind can provide that space where we can conceptualise whatever that comes to mind. We should nurture that space, shape it, put it in order, and visit it whenever we feel the need. It is accessible, at work and at play, during night or day, you alone hold the key. The need to have a space away from the maddening crowd is necessary, particularly given the many social changes, restrictions, conflicting directions that presently exists in our society.?With all of this in mind I thought I would create a verse on the safe haven space located in the mind. You might be wondering what really sparked this idea, well I was taking my usual walk and did at one point leave my well trodden path, when I started to look within self. It was rather rude of me since the scenery was really quite nice, anyway I’m sure mother nature will forgive me for introspecting on such a beautiful day. Looking within self, inspired me to create some words on the topic of a space in mind. I think we can call it MindSpace:?
Find a space within your mind
Paint it with the colours you like
Nurture the space, it is yours alone
Your safe haven, to relax, to unfold
A quiet space, a sanctuary to hide
To unravel conflicts, trouble, strife?
A space to enter at work or at home?
To meditate, to reflect, on your goals
Self care is crucial for young and old?
Set aside time to visit that space alone?
Your special place, your space to own?

The business world can be rough, it can be tough, but it can be fun, great fun. The saying goes ‘no gain without pain’ and building a business can be painful. If you are an entrepreneur and not yet at the level of Sir Richard Branson, Gary Vaynerchuk and others, do not despair, we all have to start somewhere. Through the ups and downs of running a business, problems with raising capital, problems with paying the rent, basically having problems making money, it can lead us to question whether we have chosen the right path, my best advice is ‘do not despair’. Be realistic about solving the issue, reach out to get help and keep the vision alive. Here is a little verse:?
Pounds, dollars, pennies, yen and cents
Every little bit helps to pay the rent?
Can’t make the cut, don’t have the bucks
But can’t let go, though much is owed?
The vision is mine a childhood dream?
To create a business, leave a legacy?
An entrepreneur, is the vision for me ?
But it’s proving hard to get currency?
Let go, release, yield, give up the fight?
Walk away and find a new way of life
The decision is creating dissonance of mind
