A POEM OF REMEMBRANCE
Dexter Moscow - Helping you achieve more.
Ensuring that when you talk they listen, when you pitch they buy. Win the business you deserve.
We stood together on castle green in a circle of remembrance,
Awaiting the hour of 11 am with dignity and patience.
A poem was read, as birds sang out and a silent prayer was given
For lives that were lost, for those who grieve, and hearts that still are riven.
In two great wars they fought the foe and Poppies are worn to mark this.
Yet still today the battles rage in Ukraine a country in crisis.
A lone trumpeter then stepped forward as 2 wreaths in reverence were laid
And with faultless ease the tune rang out and the last post was expertly played.
Our wish this day is war will end and the need for arms will cease.
May God look down on this village life and grant us everlasting peace.
