The 6 Hours of Fuji of the FIA World Endurance Championship took place this weekend with the trio drivers of the #38 car finishing in second place, leaving Japan again as leaders of the LMP2 class and with a 28-point lead.?

Monterrey native Roberto González had the first turn of the competition, doing a good job and staying within the top-5. He was followed by the British Will Stevens, who continued to gain ground; then the Portuguese Antonio Felix da Costa entered the track. The teams will have a break before heading to the final race of the season, when the Bahrain International Circuit hosts a decisive eight-hour race on November 12. “It was a good day in our fight for the 2022 championship. We finished in second place, I am really happy with the result, obviously we wanted the victory, but we are very happy with second place despite having started in first place. We bet on a strategy to save fuel, and in the end we realized that it was not the correct strategy because the race did not present any yellow flag, Full Course Yellow or Safety Car situation, which is what we bet on.?

In the end we changed our strategy to not save as much fuel, but it wasn't enough to make up the ground against the winning car.
