Podcast Window

I have decided to get rid of all hangups. It is about being and interacting on live videos.

I have recently created a video, "Podcast Window," to chat with professionals and humanists on topics of diverse interest. Fortunately, I have been connected with a decent number of good humans on and off LinkedIn. I also count Facebook because many art, music, film, and other creative media professionals are not on LinkedIn. I don't want to exclude the people I have known since my college days. I have been directly acquainted with a small number of creators who are already celebrities because of their contemporary works.

It was a long time wish I delayed for no reason

I knew the craft. I should say, I learned the basics of podcasting from an experienced and well-known tech podcaster. But I was hesitating and delaying for years!

It was the third quarter of 2017. I had quit full-time employment due to odd reasons and a personal choice to maintain the sanctity of ethics and integrity. LinkedIn friend Lynda Spiegel advised me to appear on a podcast interview with tech columnist Neil C. Huges. In 2016, Neil already ranked as a top tech blogger on LinkedIn. Neil was kind enough to teach me the basics, and I chatted with him on his audio podcast "Tech Blog Writer."

I was featured on two podcasts in 2017 and 2019

I was featured on Neil's podcast the week Apple released their iPhone X. It had a 3D Face ID. In the podcast of Nov 6, 2017, we discussed the inconvenient truths of biometric security and privacy protection. I predicted security pitfalls in iPhone X biometric 3D face authentication. On the following week, security researchers cracked Apple's 3D Face ID. A teenage son also demonstrated opening his mother's face lock.

I also appeared in the sequel to the first podcast in Dec 2019. The title was "Identity Crisis: The Future of Password Security Systems." We discussed the adverse security effects of biometrics and the future of password security systems.

Now, I start a "Podcast Window" for professionals

LinkedIn Live is the platform that incited me to start a video chatting window. Although there is no special setup available, I have had the power of GNU/Linux and open-source software since 1999. With that in my hands and the facility of LinkedIn Live, I started my journey yesterday.

The first guest is Dr. R. Ramarathnam, whom I have known since 2014. I met him in an alumni conclave of the IIT Bombay Alumni Association held in Goa, India. He is a pioneer of a new design of electrical motors that can run directly powered by rooftop solar photovoltaics. He also designed smart grid controller electrics that can integrate the solar photovoltaic system with the AC grid of the mains power supply line.

I invite you to view the video podcast "Sustainable Solutions Combining Energy Efficiency & Green Energy" on LinkedIn or Facebook. I understand there are some inherent flaws. Some of which I know, and some I might have missed. I will be happy to get your frank opinions. I would appreciate it if you would share the video with others.

My podcast window is open

Although it is just initiation, I wish to extend it further by engaging with more people from diverse fields. I wonder if any of you would like to be a guest to chat over my podcast window about your area of work, project, company, or any other venture that connects humans from the planet earth.

If you like to chat with me over the "Podcast Window," please don't hesitate to send an inquiry via LinkedIn messenger or email.
