Hello Boss!

As entrepreneurs, we’re often put in unusual and extraordinary circumstances.

While it can be overwhelming at times, I believe it gives us an upper hand — especially when it comes to creativity.

When we’re put in unconventional situations and can observe, stay open and flexible we can do what the best creators do. . .start associating the unfamiliar with the familiar — the unusual with the usual.

Masters of creativity are fluent in connecting and combining, merging and mixing, deconstructing and reconstructing.

Working on a process for onboarding your clients?

Take a field trip to a local university and observe how they onboard their new students.

Looking to improve your customer experience?

Experience a week at your own hospital and then compare your stay at an Airbnb and Four Seasons resort.

The best thinkers:

Jump to juxtapositions.

Dive into divergence.

Every. Single. Day.

So the next time you’re put in an absurd or preposterous situation, don’t be stunned. Place these experiences into your own personal pocket of peculiar. Perceive, percolate and watch your creative genius flow.

XO
