Poachers make the best Game Keepers!
Frank William Abagnale, Jr. (/??b?ɡne?l/; born April 27, 1948) is an American security consultant known for his history as a former confidence trickster, check forger, and impostor between the ages of 15 and 21.
He became one of the most famous impostors ever, claiming to have assumed no fewer than eight identities, including an airline pilot, a physician, a U.S. Bureau of Prisons agent, and a lawyer.
He escaped from police custody twice (once from a taxiing airliner and once from a U.S. federal penitentiary), before he was 21 years old. He served less than five years in prison before starting to work for the federal government.
He is currently a consultant and lecturer for the FBI academy and field offices. He also runs Abagnale & Associates, a financial fraud consultancy company.
Abagnale's life story inspired the Academy Award-nominated feature film Catch Me If You Can (2002), starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Abagnale, as well as both a Broadway musical and autobiography of the same name.
Abagnale's story certainly demonstrates that this unlikely 'partnership', a buzz word used so easily in the business world but rarely lived up to in the healthcare recruitment arena, was so powerful it helped the government de-risk fraud exposure, amazing.
The lesson to be learnt by the Game Keepers is revolutions, change management, government objectives,driving efficiencies and much more can be beautifully assisted by poachers. Granted these are individuals you (NHS/Government) wouldn't normally consider until you read my article. But, compared to the big names who the NHS hire for thousands of pounds per day through very senior management consultancy contracts the poacher knows every step of the inside track that the Game Keeper so badly needs to understand and eradicate.
Ummmmm so much to read between these lines, I know, but gets the juices flowing and the mind boggling.
Consequently, what's normal about the national health services temporary recruitment cultural shift, expenditure realisation, the huge learning curve and the IR35 and agency rules! Nothing...
Since 2015 the cultural shift and realisation has begun to set in since the compliance lessons through to wage caps. April 2017 will expose how much reliance has been set on a government levy or tax, the entire healthcare agency arena is being forced to change but the arena is in denial.
