Advanced Project Portfolio Management and the PMO, by Gerald Kendall and Steven C. Rollins
?
Today’s world is all about project economy and reaping benefits as soon as possible at minimum cost and effort. To cope with this task, many organizations set up PMO offices in their organization to balance their portfolios. Are you also planning to implement a PMO office in your organization but you are skeptical if it would be a good idea and if it would add any benefit? If your answer is yes, this book would be a good start. The authors used real-world case studies – including tools and techniques – that might help you in turning your PMO office into a value machine.?
This book is a must-read for everyone who is walking down the aisle of project management. The book is divided into four sections that guide the reader step by step on how to take the PMO to the next level i.e. from setting up the stage to implementing PMO.
