PM Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana- Mitra S.K. Food Testing Lab is a Food Testing Partner for this program

Known previously, as ‘the National Program for Mid-Day Meal in Schools’ the Mid-Day Meal Scheme for school children is now renamed as Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman Yojana. It aims to provide one cooked hot meal to the students of Government and Government-aided schools. This is a Centrally-Sponsored Scheme which covers all school children from Classes I-VIII.

MSK is associated with various state governments for testing of the food quality which is being provided to the students. Last 2 years due to the effect of COVID 19 these school meals were on hold. However, it has started again from the current year. Mitra S.K. Food Testing Laboratories are fully equipped to cater to the quality maintenance of these food.?

Samples are collected from selected schools from every district and tested for nutritional value and hygiene parameters. Cold chain is maintained while bringing the samples to the lab.
