On the third anniversary of the NEP, PM Modi announced new initiatives to promote inclusive education in India. School admissions made easier for Manipur students

Delhi government has eased admission norms for students from Manipur by issuing a comprehensive guideline to provide provisional admission. The guidelines aim at a smooth admission process, even in absence of relevant documents. This move comes amidst the recent clashes and civil unrest in Manipur between the Meitei and Kuki communities. Karnataka’s Department of School Education and Literacy has issued a similar circular, insisting that students from Manipur be admitted even in the absence of documents like transfer certificate? or birth certificate. UGC Drafts Institutional Development Plans

University Grants Commission released draft guidelines for Institutional Development Plans (IDPs) that aim to enhance the quality of higher education institutions by promoting academic excellence, research, and innovation. Education Ministry Signs 106 MoUs

The Ministry of Education in India has inked 106 MoUs with organisations like NCERT, NIOS, IITs, NITs, IBM, Intel, and Microsoft? among others to promote innovation, knowledge exchange, and research across multiple domains.? CBSE has signed 15 MoUs with different institutes, focusing on specific skill development and education.
