During a recent address in Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a sharp response to comments made by key figures from Pakistan and within India. Reacting to statements by Farooq Abdullah and Mani Shankar Aiyar, PM Modi showcased India's strong stance on the international stage.
Farooq Abdullah, a leader of the National Conference, had commented on India's intent regarding Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), prompting a firm reply from Rajnath Singh. PM Modi, in his speech, reiterated India's readiness to deal with any challenge, stating that if Pakistan wasn't already equipped, India would make sure they "wear bangles."
The Prime Minister also addressed an older video of Congress veteran Mani Shankar Aiyar, whose remarks advocating for a softer stance towards Pakistan had gained attention. PM Modi criticized such attitudes, highlighting the economic struggles faced by Pakistan and asserting that India's neighbor had been trying to sell its bombs but lacked buyers due to their inferior quality.
PM Modi's visit to Bihar also saw him discussing domestic issues, particularly regarding illegal money amounting to ?2200 crore seized by the government in the last decade. He criticized the opposition parties, especially the RJD and Congress, accusing them of prioritizing vote banks over the welfare of Bihar's people.
Drawing attention to divisive statements made by leaders like Lalu Prasad Yadav regarding reservations, PM Modi warned against jeopardizing the constitutional rights of Dalits, backwards, and tribals. He also pointed out the perceived self-serving priorities of certain political figures.
