Leading the next wave of innovation and growth

After 3 years of persistent development, Pluto.markets has unveiled an app that sets new standards in accessibility and affordability. Founded in 2021 by Joakim Bruchmann , a former Goldman Sachs trader, and Oscar Vingtoft , an experienced software engineer, the company aims to disrupt the multi-billion euro brokerage market.

Pluto has proven excellent execution by lowering barriers to investing and building a new core banking infrastructure. Earlier this year, the company secured a USD 2.6 Million funding round with high-profile backers like Y Combinator , Magnetic Capital , and the founders of Nordic Unicorns Pleo , Synthesia , Zendesk , and Sitecore . Also, they successfully obtained an EU Investment Firm license, including self-custody, from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority after a two-year regulatory journey.

Co-founder & CTO Oscar Vingtoft shares: ??? “From the very beginning, we have focused on our long-term vision and decided that we would control all critical infrastructure ourselves, which we have built from scratch. This has required significant resources and time, but it’s incredibly rewarding to be at the point where we are now ready to capture the Danish market—and momentarily, all of the Nordics.”

The platform's first version offers commission-free, fractional trading in over 3,000 U.S. stocks, with plans to expand into new asset classes by the end of the year.
