This corresponds to a share of 74.1 percent among all new passenger car registrations for the month. In addition, 982 new plug-in hybrids were registered. In the model ranking, none of the usual vehicles were ahead in April.
Total new vehicle registrations in Europe fell by 19% in March, but BEVs and PHEVs secured a market share?record ahead of diesels. Tesla outsold Dacia, Citroen, Fiat, and Nissan.
The partnership could lead to up to 8,000 new charge points across Germany, the UK and other European countries by the end of 2024.
Volvo Trucks has just announced the sales start for its three-strong lineup of electric trucks, the FH, FM and FMX. Tractor models will enter production first, but rigid versions will join them towards the end of 2022, giving the truck manufacturer the widest range of heavy duty electric vehicles in Europe.
Formula E has revealed the much-anticipated “Gen3” car, which will race in the 2023 season, with significantly improved performance over the current Gen2 cars. And an angular body which is – let’s say – “polarizing.”

Earlier this month, Nissan announced the establishment of a prototype production facility for all-solid-state battery cells - with plans to establish a pilot production line as soon as 2024 in Japan and market availability in an EV in 2028.
