In a jungle of plants, smell of coffee and scent of?fruit, you will be sitting on a comfy chair in front of a slick designed-in-California computer. After the usual morning chat, you will work your a** off to provide the best work you have ever done like if your life depends on it (and it actually does, doesn't it?). This, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for a modest pay check at the end of the month, which will allow you to go enjoy the CNY break in Pattaya.

You will work for a flying-hospital, a candy maker, an international apothecary, wine makers from the other side of the world, some yummy red concentrated balls of love and a beauty alchemist of the 21st century.

Position Overview

As a?Strategy Director?at PLTFRM, you are leading the agency’s quest to design businesses and brands. You translate business problems into insightful strategic directions that inspire and shape the team work. You are a intersectional thinkers, who can approach a problem from a business, brand, user experience, media, or data angle, and orchestrate talent from across this spectrum. You pioneers, who create new approaches to problems, new practices for client work, and who see the opportunities that stem from new tech and new customer behaviours. You effectively anticipate issue before they arise.

Key Responsibility

  • Leading the strategic thinking across some of our largest projects and workstreams
  • Leading the team, knowing how to get the best out of them, how to get the various resources working well together, and how to create opportunities for all team members to stretch their skills.
  • Ensuring our work meets client need, and builds PLTFRM reputation
  • Being familiar with working with all of PLTFRM tools and introducing your own tools to PLFTRM.
  • Taking an active role in new business, creating inspirational pitches that break the mold and take us into new areas and challenges.
  • Being aware of the financial targets and needs of our business, playing an active role in ensuring that budgets for your jobs are used carefully and effectively.
  • Pushing the ambition and quality of the work on your projects , ensuring it meet PLTFRM exacting standards and makes us proud.
  • Play an active role in the Strategy and wider PLTFRM community by contributing enthusiastically to our communities with new tools/methodologies and helping internal initiatives to take off
  • Developing and championing marketing strategies to grow our clients’ business
  • Managing execution of integrated marketing plans to drive customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Gathering and analyzing insights and data to determine the most valuable opportunities to improve marketing performance
  • Develop client narrative and positioning by maintaining consistent brand image, lead all creative and campaign development
  • Building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, viewed as a strategic advisor to help them understand how to grow brands through marketing channels and experiences
  • Playing an integral role within the practice to create and expand practice offerings
  • Nurture and mentor junior talent to grow the Marketing Strategy practice

Key Relationships

  • Report directly to?agency founders.
  • Lead the designer/creative team that consists of content creators, graphic designers, live streaming, copywriting/video/graphic production, and live streaming functions.


Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of?10+ years?of marketing planning experience
  • Minimum of?7+ years in agency?environment
  • Must have?extensive experience?in one or more of the following areas: Brand strategy, CRM strategy, digital strategy, communication strategy, media strategy
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience
  • Ideal experience in?FMCG, CPG, and/or financial services?(one or more; not all required)
  • Strategic planning?skills: strong strategic thinker, search for insights, and shepherd strategic idea
  • Subject matter expert in?digital strategy?and?integrated marketing?with expertise in designing data-driven multichannel relationship marketing strategies utilizing web, mobile, social, email, and traditional marketing channels
  • Experience building out assets for client workshops, business development efforts, and constructing high-impact strategies
  • Experience of?key business performance metrics?and KPIs
  • Digitally fluent, with knowledge of digital marketing best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment with limited guidance
  • Seeking a diverse array of?agency experiences?across industries and strategic skill sets
  • Have extensive experience in?branding?including a deep expertise of all the fundamentals of?brand strategy?( purpose, positioning, proposition, personality, values and architecture) as well as a good understand of the?creative process?to develop and refresh brand identities
  • Speak the language of change with some knowledge of culture/employee engagement, customer experience, innovation and/or research insights and analytics
  • Have a rich experience of roles and deep sector experience, working previously at reputable agencies or consultancies.
  • Have previously led a variety of?multi-disciplinary teams
  • Have previous experience in helping to change large, established organizations.
