The Plots and Subplots of our lives

Welcome to My Personal Coach. Your daily dose of Coaching Tips.
Many great men and women have emphasised the Importance of vision and long-term goals.
One should create long-term goals and keep focusing on getting there.
They are like the main plot of a story.
We see this in movies all the time.
For example, Harry Potter has to defeat Voldemort, or Jason Bourne needs to know who he is.
We don't realise that each plot has multiple sub-plots, and the action happens at every stage.
Harry needs to learn magic and defeat many smaller enemies before he can face Voldemort in the showdown.
Jason has to go through many challenges before finding the truth.
Similarly, in our lives, we set goals and visions, but they are our main plots.
The daily challenges and the steps we take to solve them move us to the ultimate destination.
At every turn, we must decide to act towards what we want, and help will come as long as we are determined to succeed.
The present challenges, struggles and opportunities are equally important.
Our subplots are necessary, and how we face them today will determine how we will finally reach our goals.
What story, plot and subplots can you relate to in your life?
Do you have one?
How can you link your subplots to your storyline and create or realise your vision and goals?

1 年10 years ago, when I rented my first home in Australia, I dreamt of having my own garden as I had in India. I got my first plant. Sowed some more seeds, bought soil and pots, got some more plants. Read about how to take best care for them. My sub plots took the number to 150. And 8 years later they did found a place in my own garden. The goal was achieved, the dream was fulfilled. Thank you Chander Shankar for letting me think and bring up my story.
