Data + AI Summit 2024
Our team just got back from Databricks’ Data + AI Summit. It was an incredible experience, and we are truly grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth. We enjoyed engaging with so many talented individuals and experts, discussing production data apps, and sharing insights about Plotly and Dash Enterprise.?

Plotly Community Meetup in San Francisco
The Plotly team had an awesome time hosting our San Francisco Plotly community gathering! Alongside Chris Parmer, the Creator of Dash and Co-Founder of Plotly, and Adam Schroeder, Community Manager, presented new open-source initiatives and community programs, and introduced the newest features and fixes in Dash and Plotly Graphing Libraries.?
The team enjoyed hearing community members' initiatives, feedback for improvements, and ideas for future data visualization projects. We greatly appreciate everyone who came out to see us. The meetup was such a hit, we were practically ready to start a karaoke session! Hope to see you all again soon!
Data Driven Oil & Gas 2024
Senior Account Executive Justin Boll represented Plotly in Houston, Texas at Data Driven Oil & Gas USA 2024. Collaborating with industry leaders such as Shell and Chesapeake Energy, Justin provided practical insights on leveraging Plotly Dash to enhance efficiency and sustainability in the oil and gas sector.
Justin leveraged the presence of over 400 industry professionals at the event to actively participate in open discussions, exchanging strategies for sustainable, data-driven innovation.

Collision 2024
Plotly team members Eliza, Abe, Monanshi were at the Collision Conference in Toronto! They loved connecting with the data science community about new and emerging technology. Additionally, they attend some great talks on Generative AI, including one from Geoffrey Hinton, the “Godfather of AI”.
Experience Dash Enterprise: Live Demo?
Mingo Sanchez and Dylan Muscat hosted a live Dash Enterprise demo focused on healthcare and life sciences use cases. They demonstrated how Dash Enterprise aids in creating and managing scalable, interactive, user-friendly production-grade data applications, particularly for pharmaceutical tasks like molecular analysis and bioinformatics.?
The demo covered using Dash Enterprise for drug discovery, regulatory compliance, clinical trials, and transforming notebooks into interactive apps with Plotly App Studio. It also included generating AI-powered insights with Chatbot Builder, creating responsive data apps with Dash Design Kit, and developing PDF reports using Snapshot Engine.

?? Databricks LLM (DBRX) with Dash App Building Challenge —? We're inviting the LLM builder community to create large language models using Databricks and develop front-end app interfaces with Dash. Apps will be evaluated based on their integration with Databricks, potential impact (such as innovative business ideas or societal benefits), incorporation of AI agents (like LangChain and CrewAI), and the quality of their UI/UX design. Submit your app by July 7 for the chance to win a cash prize!
