I'm writing this as I depart Manchester by after another brilliant trip to meet with partners for Invisible Cities - although our plans were scuppered for the whole team to meet, with flooding stopping all trains from Scotland which was a shame, but everyone remained safe and well, and our travel sponsors Raileasy took care of all of the chaos for us.
It's been one of my favourite kinds of weeks. A week of bringing momentum of motivation to teams.
At the start of the week I ran a workshop around social media strategy, key messaging and tone of voice for train ticketing savers TrainSplit and the feedback was mega.
"Amazingly motivating"
It doesn't get better than that.
On Tuesday I managed to slide doors with one of my longest standing work friends Kate Stinchcombe-Gillies as she zipped through Oxford, only from New Zealand so not far....in just an hour we crammed in slightly hyper chatter about all things from growing a business to our latest favourite books, to new opportunities and old stories. It was the best. Thank you Kate.
On Wednesday I spent an hour with fellow Independent Oxford member Tamara from Heal Oxford, a wellbeing sanctuary. As much as I felt blissed out as soon as I stepped through the door, I was there to work. Tamara kindly offered her studio and workshop space as a photo set so I could update my website. So I spent an hour taking photos of myself pretending to be deep in conversation or presenting to an audience. Yep.

Then it was time to head up to Manchester - as much as I hate train wifi, I do quite like the 3 hour trip - it's direct, I always get a seat booking with Raileasy and I find that my brain works differently when I'm away from my desk.
I also had the pleasure of meeting Bobby this morning at drop in centre for homeless in Manchester, Lifeshare .
If only all hours were that productive! So grateful to have been a part of your week ??
