With the onset of the 4IR, Product Lifecycle Management continues to show its value in enabling not only Industry4.0 technologies, but underpinning product innovation and the full asset lifecycle.
We are excited to represent some of the UK’s and Europe’s most significant large enterprise digital transformation projects centred in the product lifecycle.
Today, we are looking for three respective leaders of the following independent sectors:
- Power generation
- Aerospace
- Automotive
Each individual will lead the project(s) approach to PLM and Product Lifecycle.
Project Drivers
Each respective project has its individual drivers, however generally each is expected to deliver their products faster to market, provide development efficiencies and reduce overall product costs.
The Role
Planning
You’ll be expected to grasp the full scope of the PLM system requirements, having considered the needs of all stakeholders across the entire value chain (customer, supplier, management and functional leads).
Define all high-level business requirements along with detailed functional requirements for each operational area
PLM Alignment
Consider business improvement initiatives, care of best practice PLM, together with the achievement of the strategic goals effectively through the PLM implementation.
Educate all stakeholders on the need for a fully integrated PLM system and its anticipated value to the business in terms of productivity and profitability.
Communicate throughout all phases of PLM system implementation to increase visibility and keep all stakeholders well informed about upcoming changes in both technology and operational processes.
Project Roadmap
- Clearly identify clear and measurable goals along the project journey
- Assign project roles & responsibilities
- Identify resource demand
Your Background
You will require a strong understanding of the power or automotive or aerospace industry sectors, combined with an appreciation of the respective product lifecycles.
Over the years, you will have developed a series of best practices that can be considered as part of the program.
