Plenary 5: Building Resilience Across Crises, Conflict, and Competition

Watch the ‘Future Threat Plenary’ LIVE on the CYBERUK 2024 YouTube channel, at 3.20 pm on Wednesday May 15th.

Cyber has been a significant feature of geopolitical conflicts that continue to flare across the globe. As the private sector mobilised at unprecedented pace and scale to enable a robust cyber defence, who gets to call the shots in cyberspace? And what does it mean to operate as part of an expanded threat surface, amidst a conflict?

Join our global panel of leaders at 3:20 pm on Wednesday May 15th on the CYBERUK 2024 YouTube channel , where the ‘Building Resilience Across Crises, Conflict, and Competition’ plenary will be streamed live. This panel will explore how cyber threats and resilience might differ, whether in future conflicts, crises, or competition between states, as a critical part of future preparedness for conflicts.

Paul Chichester MBE, NCSC’s Director of Operations will chair the debate, with contributions from Sarah Armstrong-Smith (Chief Security Advisor, Microsoft), Air Vice Marshall Tim Neal-Hopes OBE (Commander, National Cyber Force), David Luber (Director, Cybersecurity Directorate, National Security Agency), Emelia Probasco (Senior Fellow, Center For Security And Emerging Technology), and Dmitri Alperovitch (Chairman, Silverado Policy Accelerator).
