Pleased to Announce...

?Put up or shut up,? said my (then) fiancé, and now wife, back in 2006. Her point was - stop talking about Croatia from Washington, DC - ?let’s move there or quit talking about it?. So, here we are - in Croatia. You may have noticed that I’ve written and talked more and more, recently, about a revolution underway in the world economy. It’s not a ?coming? revolution as it is already at our doorstep, poised to blast through the front door. The revolution is characterized by the exponential dominance of - what I call - the Trinity of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. 

If this all sounds like science fiction, then you’ve never flown on an aircraft. Autopilot, which has been a standard feature of military and commercial planes since the late 1940s, is a combination of just that - robotics, AI and big data. Your fate has rested many times in the capabilities of this trinitarian technology whether you were aware of it or not. The difference now is that this tech is becoming all pervasive, touching all facets of our lives, from industry to media to academia to government. So confident in this game-changing vision of the future, astute players like SoftBank, GE, Alphabet and others are entering the robotics, AI and big data “highway” with billions in investment – and with nary an idea of where it will end up.

To that end, I am very pleased to announce that I will be participating in building this future with a wonderful team of friends and colleagues. I am joining Matija Kopi? (founder of Farmeron) in his latest venture, Gideon Brothers, as their new Chief Growth Officer. In that role, I am tasked with helping to scale the company into one of the strongest most profitable robotics players in Europe. Although in its early stages, Gideon Brothers is already proving to be a magnet for world-class talent, investors and customers – and that’s a great beginning, because we are laying the foundations for the future.  

There are no guarantees in life. But I do know that you will lose if you don't play. And, I like to play…and win.
