Nature Nurture’s ‘Mission Lousehill’ is a community re-wilding project that engages urbanites with an ancient woodland on their doorstep. By combining spy themed creative arts, Forest School and conservation activities, the project has successfully engaged the unusual suspects through various missions at their local nature reserve, achieving positive outcomes for both people and nature. 

Nature Nurture CIC have been nominated as Finalists in the Outdoor Learning Awards under the category ‘Community Development’ for their work with local Dee Park community.  The Community Development Award recognises collaborative working projects where outdoor learning has been central to the development of young people or adults in a particular community group. The Outdoor Learning Award would provide recognition of the success of the project to date, and encourage its continued success in the future.  This would thus enable Nature Nurture to connect more local people with more local green spaces.
