This is what I want to tell you today – and it’s coming from the place of LOVE as always, just maybe a bit of tough love today…
Please stop looking for a QUICK & EASY?solution when overcoming your Imposter Syndrome.
Please stop those expectations.
You are only lining yourself up?for a disappointment.
In today’s fast-paced world we are so used to expecting quick fixes and we are often given promises on how quickly we can change our #habits , patterns, #thoughts and beliefs.
It’s a LIE.
You’re not going to reprogram your mind from one day to another. Not even from one week to another. Not even from one month to another.
You’re not all of the sudden going to change your belief from “I am not good enough” to “I am the best thing ever.”?
Your #neuropathways are so deep that they will not want to let you change your subconscious ways of living your life.
It’s too scary for your mind.?
And so your #mind will do anything to keep you in your old ways.
Your old ways are maybe not helpful, they are maybe even harmful in many ways – but to your brain – they are familiar.
And familiar unhealthy habit or thought is better than unfamiliar healthy habit or thought.
Better the devil you know, right?
And so today (from the place of love??) I want to invite you to PLEASE stop expecting miracles from yourself.
I see many #high #achievers who want to change their thought patterns and their beliefs and because they are not able to do so within a space of a few weeks – they fall again into the same sinking feeling of – “I am not good enough to change my thoughts. You see – I told you.”
Back to square one.
When I work with my clients we start seeing the first changes in the real world out there (whether it’s in the boardroom or a relationship or a difficult conversation or creating boundaries or speaking up or changing that “I am not good enough” belief) after three-four months of our work together.

Things start landing. The first glimpses of “ah – things can be different for me” start appearing and the first little victories start popping up.
This is with clients who understand that re-wiring their neuropathways responsible for their old ways of thinking need a bit of time.
Patience, #self -#compassion and gentle one little change at a time is imperative.
The reward is priceless.
The reward is the inner peace and a new feeling of being #empowered and facing life from the place of #courage – not from the place of fear of not being good enough or not being worthy or not being lovable. Or ……. (fill in your own story).
That’s why the 1-2-1 programs I run are either for 6 or 12 months.
You need that period to really start seeing the change, start feeling comfortable with using the tools and showing up in the world in a different way than when Imposter Syndrome rules your life.
I could tell you things will change within one month.
I would be lying.
But what is 6 or 12 months in comparison to your whole life?? And to the feeling you get for the rest of your life?
