Please, help yourself.

Here in the United States, it’s a holiday weekend; the 4th of July.?So, I’ll keep this short. Because we’re on holiday, it’s a great time to talk about self-care.

It’s a time we can relax a bit, enjoy family and friends, put the business on the back burner for a day or two, and consider the ways we can take better care of ourselves.

When you get on a commercial airline flight and the flight attendants go through through the demonstration of putting on the oxygen masks that drop down in case of an emergency, they always say to put yours on first, before helping your child or another person put on theirs.?There’s a reason for this and it applies to everyday life as well.??

I believe it’s extremely difficult to take care of others if you don’t first take care of yourself.??

I'm not suggesting being selfish.??

But to really serve others YOU need to have a strong mind and a strong body.??

Your customers, your team, and your family will be better off if you take some solo time to take care of yourself to work on strengthening YOUR mind and body.

So, here’s your Action Item, and mission, should you decide to accept it; it's an easy one:

Make a list of things you can do to help yourself, so you can help others.?I’ll go first and put some of mine in the comments.?Please join me and add one or two of yours.??

A good number of people watch and read this Sunday Starter.?What better way for you to help someone else than by giving them ideas that can change their lives.??

Self-help and becoming the best you can be is the starting point.?It puts you on the path to both business and personal success.?Helping, and changing the lives of others will be your bonus.?And it’s a bonus you don’t have to pay tax on!

If you found this video helpful, and you haven’t already, please consider subscribing and sharing.

By sharing this post we help each other.?And together we can all be more successful, stronger, and happier.

Remember, one hand washes the other and together they get clean.

Thanks for watching.?Much more to come.

Have a rewarding week.??And I’ll see you next time.

??Please share this if you think others would benefit from a little encouragement to keep going.

Remember, one hand washes the other, and together they get clean. Thank you for reading. Have a really rewarding week and I’ll see you next time.
