Please help Aunt Dorothy

?My name is Kathy and I have an Aunt Dorothy who lives in Des Moines Iowa she has a service dog named Milo. They have been together for a many years he is her best friend, he protects her and he loves her dearly. Milo was hit by a car and he needed surgery the vet said Milo’s surgery will cost $5,000 because he has internal energies or he will die in a few weeks. Aunt Dot can’t live without him he keeps her going, she lives alone, counts on him daily to make her happy and enjoy her life. She has several medical conditions and she is in her late 80’s. She spent her live raising the families children, caring for other children that needed continuous care due to their disabilities and helping others. I am asking that anyone that can please give to the GoFundMe to save Milo's life and keep them together as long as possible. If those that can just give $5 or 10 dollars he can get the surgery.

The problem in this country is that as we age our family, friends and others forget about our elders and they are left alone. Milo has given her a much better life because he is there for her and he deeply loves her. We must do a better job to support our elderly because when they are left alone they give up ob their life and have a hard time moving forward. I call her weekly, i visited her last summer and I love her so much but I can pay for the surgery. I too am a senior with very little income.?
