I am being blunt because I am not very good at asking for money. I hate asking friends, family or acquaintances for money. I have always been self-reliant so the thought of asking money I didn't earn from anyone seems so shameful. But, I am not asking for myself, so I am mustering up the courage to ask you for your donation. I am asking for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, so I am hoping that you will be willing to forgive me for my bluntness.

You might be wondering why I am doing this. Why LLS? There are many reasons, but mainly because cancer is a terrible disease and if there is any way that I can help contribute to finding a cure, then I want to do it. Secondly, I know I can give money, but I am hoping that with a bit of effort (actually a lot), I can also encourage you to give money as well. So, I am doing this hike that I have been training for (on and off) for the past 8 months in October (he big hike to Base Camp that I have wrote about before). That means I got less than four months to go. I am hoping that in these remaining months, I would be able to reach of my goal of raising $5000 for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Will you help me out?
