Almost 6 years ago, when my child was born, I felt it was time to rethink my life. With her growth her needs became clear, as the curious human-being that she is. Being a listener and involving my curious mind, I started to understand where many gaps were at schools. I wondered what could I do to inspire and enable schools to take the next step at a change process.
Schools play such an important role in kids and teens lives. Many schools still standardize everything. However, our world is everything but standardized.
I’ve worked in national and international projects. For 20 years I helped companies, projects, people achieving their goals. It was now time to follow my heart’s desire. To help myself, my child, and our children in general.
It was time to contribute with my skills to help schools who wanted to take the next step. That’s how my 6-step process to reinvent schools was created. The starting points is simple: listen to your audience, understand their needs.
And now, “Reinventing our Schools” it’s going online, so that we can reach and help more schools throughout the world, taking the next step.
Last year during the 1st year of the current pandemic, a businessman I admire, showed me a changemaker tool. He knew about my passion for education. That’s is how edtech came into my life, that is how I became a Kinderpedia believer and how I became its partner in Portugal and in other Portuguese speaking countries.
It’s an amazing tool that transforms schools. It creates a better time management and enhances communication, and therefore it helps in conflict management. It helps you save time and have peace of mind. Who doesn’t want that? I do!
Behind a great tool, there are always great human-beings. Kinderpedia is no exception.
This week I’ll present you the 3 founders: Eve, Daniel and Valentin. This week, I’ll share with you their “why” on developing Kinderpedia and why it doesn’t stop evolving, based in schools’ needs.
So now, please allow me to introduce myself. I’m a human, a woman, a mother, a changemaker. I’m here to serve and help our schools, in teamwork and through different paths and tools, helping them to become the new changemakers in this brave new world.
