Changing our mind is uncomfortable. Accepting our viewpoint might be wrong is even more uncomfortable.
In personal growth change is inevitable, old ideas must be disregarded and new ideas must be tested.
Out stubborn belief about something or someone can lead to unhappiness. We have not given the benefit of doubt.
Sometimes our focus is narrow, and we cannot actually see the bigger picture.
If evidence and common sense dictates the folly of our belief, then we need to allow a change in us. This is the way to grow. From our young age changing our mind is seen as a taboo, but that might be for our own good. But as adults we can make informed decisions.
