Play-Offs Should we have them??

The experts say that the league table at the end of the season does not lie!So why do we have the pay -offs??Surely the team either in 3rd spot  in championship div 1 and 4th place in div 2 should have automatic promotion.                                                            Put in the mixer the play off semi finals 2 legs- then the Final at Wembley Two teams fighting like gladiators to get promotion in a one off match.The excitement, the pain, the glory ,the pure roller coster of a ride for the fans .This season saw Norwich 3rd v Middlesborough 4th and as we know Norwich came through in possiblly the most lucrative match on the planet.Preston 3rd beatSwindon 4th.
