Play-Ins Day 1: SPY v ISG

Splyce made sure to cement themselves as the #1 team in their play-in group in our 6th and final game of day 1. Taking a no nonsense approach to pick & ban they drafted themselves a classic teamfighting comp. With Rakan, J4, and Gnar's cc abilities it was clear that their goal was to lock down the enemy carries so that their Mid/Bot carries could burst them down quickly and effectively any time the teams were to clash over drakes, towers, barons, or ward coverage.

There isn't much to say aside from the obvious. ISG was completely outclassed in this match up only managing to gather 5 kills onto SPY with an abysmal 0 towers, 0 drakes, and 0 barons. Fans of the (LLA) need not worry however, if ISG manage to bounce back in their games on Friday and go 2-0 they will surely make top 2 in their group and have a chance to move forward. As for Splyce's fans their progression to the next phase of the tournament is nearly locked up and ready for congratulations!
