Plate heat exchangers revamping in steel mill and plastic molding and PCHE exchangers for hydrogen technologies
Plate heat exchangers revamping intervention in steel mill
Maintenance intervention in an important steel mill in the province of Milan with complete revamping of the plate heat exchangers installed at the customer's production site. The operation, which lasted three months taking advantage of the plant's downtime to ensure operational continuity, led overall to the cleaning of over 1.500 plates and the replacement of the plate packs in the most obsolete exchangers.
Multistream PCHE exchangers for hydrogen multistage compression tasks
There are many innovative technologies that are appearing on the market to meet the requirements of the emerging hydrogen industry, for the distribution and compression of gas with multi-stage compressors. Very interesting in particular are the applications of multistream PCHE exchangers, capable of withstanding the extreme temperature and pressure levels typical of hydrogen applications in gas cooling between the different necessary compression stages.
Revamping and energy efficiency for plastic molding in pharma
Revamping and efficiency improvement intervention on the cooling system serving the plastic molding department of a leading manufacturer of electro-medical devices in Italy and Europe. The intervention led to the transition to a closed-loop system with air-cooled water chillers, and the operational feedback after one year convinced the customer to invest in a further upgrade.
PCHE exchangers for hydrogen technologies in North America
Microchannel Devices , Tempco’s partner in Europe for PCHE printed circuit plate heat exchangers for extreme pressure levels in hydrogen applications, attended the Hydrogen Technology Expo North America in Houston, joining forces with the H2 TECHNOLOGY Consortium . The solutions presented triggered a great interest and response, preparing stimulating developments in the growing supply chain of hydrogen technologies in North America.
