In a recent interview with LallanTop, poet and educator Kumar Vishwas announced an innovative approach to learning. His brainchild, a new school initiative, integrates environmental stewardship directly into the curriculum:
A Call to Individual Action
Vishwas's project is commendable, aiming to instill a sense of environmental accountability among students. However, its capacity is limited, given that it can accept only a thousand students. This raises an important question: Why wait for change-makers when we can be the change?
?? Our Responsibility:
* Advocate for environmental education.
* Encourage our children to cultivate greenery at home or in the local community.
* Celebrate and reward our wards for successful tree nurturing.
Turning Inspiration into Collective Action
Vishwas's spirit of ecological education must extend beyond his school's boundaries:
? Let's not merely applaud the initiative, but also incorporate these green practices in our homes and communities.
? Whether it's planting a tree or nurturing a plant in a small pot, let's actively partake in raising environmentally conscious generations.
?? ?? Professional Community Engagement:

As professionals, how can we integrate sustainable practices within our spheres of influence? Could environmental project management become a part of performance reviews or company culture?
I encourage you to share:
I am sharing my story here. On my son, Ayushman's birthday we planted a tree at NIIT University . I am sharing photos of the day when we planted the tree in 2021 and the condition of tree in 2023.
NIIT University allow any visitor, employee to plant tree on the campus and then university takes care of the tree.
Together, we can make a monumental impact, channeling the wisdom of thought leaders like Kumar Vishwas into actionable steps for a greener India.
What green initiatives have you or your organization taken up recently?
