Planning - The Conscious Way!
People who are interested in a Conscious Lifestyle usually ask me this question. If we are going to live in the moment only, how do we plan for the future. Is all planning futile?
My opinion is that Planning is the most important activity one can do to design one's life. However, the question is how do you plan. Do you plan while doing your daily chores such as eating, bathing etc. or do you actually find out few minutes everyday just to plan.
And there lies the difference guys. Automated planning is our usual way of life. While we are doing usual daily chores such as eating, brushing, bathing and so on, our mind keeps running and planning life for us. This is Unconscious planning - the planning is happening automatically. This is harmful as not only will the planning be flawed, even the present task will not be done properly.
Conscious lifestyle doesn't mean you don't plan. It means you find time to plan for future consciously - where you want to go from the present. This is in fact the real fruitful planning. Plan, set targets and work smartly to achieve them. Accept the results after putting in your best and plan again consciously- set new targets to improve upon the results. Cultivate the knack of being aware so that you can use the thoughts rather than getting used by thoughts - Build your destiny yourself!
