Water covers about 71% of the earths surface, but even so, it only represents 0.02% of the total mass of the planet. So yes, planet earth is indeed very aptly named.
The above image represents the total amount of water found on earth, squeezed into one big drop.
Personally I found this to be the most compelling image I have ever seen to inspire me to do more to protect our precious and limited water, the true elixir of life. Hopefully it will inspire you as well!

4 年Algo que sin duda debemos cuidar, medirnos y hacer conciencia en nosotros y siguientes generaciones Tero. Asi como de otros temas como la basura, la emisión de partículas contaminantes, etc. La semana pasada comenzamos a ver en casa un documental de la Antártica, muy inspirador, súper recomendable para platicarlo en casa y fomentar el cuidado de los recursos del planeta. ??
