We are on a mission to reduce plastic consumption, focusing on sustainability and low and zero-waste packaging. We wanted to outline our steps to becoming 100% plastic-free by 2024!
- Our new Free From collection is a premium line of concentrated water-free bars for face, body, and hair in plastic-free packaging––the box is FSC-certified Biodegradable. Our signature Bar Soap is also plastic-free. It now offers water-free and more sustainable alternatives to our classic and loved formulas.
PLASTIC NEGATIVE CERTIFIED
- Spinster Sisters is proudly Plastic Negative Certified from?rePurpose Global, the world's leading Plastic Action Platform. Together we empower our global communities and fund waste management facilities in India where plastic removal and recycling infrastructure has not previously existed.
- We use second-hand packing materials, often re-using peanuts, bubble wrap, excess boxes and paper from other shipments. Our stickers and the branded tape we use to close boxes is also biodegradable and so are the seasonal ice packs we use to protect products.
- When available, we also use sustainable packaging and to the naked eye our eco-friendly peanuts and foam look like plastic but are made from a natural starch that decomposes in water leaving no waste.
All of these steps are put in place to maintain a plastic negative business, while moving all of our products to plastic-free!
