Plan to fail – fail fast and then fail forward.

All of us have had times in our journey to our success and dreams where we have faced adversity, been de-railed, felt a sense of failure??Haven’t we??I certainly have.
?
Some of these instances are mere hiccups, whilst other times can be completely debilitating and de-railing, often causing us to forget or worse – scrap our vision and dreams.
Knowing that it is a normal occurrence, often experienced is the first step to successfully overcoming the twist and turns in our journey. The second and most important insight is knowing that these challenges are part of a plan for success – if we choose to frame it this way and choose to consider each one of our experiences as a moment of growth.
?
When these challenges occur, knowing your 'why', where you are heading to, and what set you on the path in the first place is so important.?We all face hiccups, reach points in our journey that weren’t as they appeared or worse, sent us into a moment of despair but many of us do struggle with getting our perspective back fast enough to avoid the spiral of self-doubt, anxiety and a fear of failure.
One of the processes that has been invaluable to me through these times has been to write myself a letter of recognition.?Recognition of myself as a human being not that of a failure.?A personal “Pep Talk” if I may call it that.?In my past, these letters were created in those moments of despair – and it took a hell of a lot of deep diving internally to change my language, to re-frame my perspective and write a note that would give me the perspective I needed to shift my mindset forward.
Since creating the Visioning process I have realised that this is actually a tool that is invaluable when prepared at the time of setting or re-setting your vision and goals, when you are in a great and inspiring place, when you have the ability to talk to yourself with sound mind, full strength and an understanding of what will give you the resilience and strength to Fail Fast – Fail Forward.
I now recommend this to my clients to prepare as part of their goal setting (I HAVE’s) as another supporting tool to keep us on track, working within the boundaries that enable our journey to be one of growth and resilience.?
Here is my “Pep Talk” for this year - what would you say if you wrote your future self a “Pep Talk” and what would be your triggers to pull it out and reflect on all your super powers?

Dear Deb,
?
You have fallen over many times before and every time you are the one who picks you back up.?Every time, you have not stepped back, you have always stepped forward.
Know that you started this journey with the end in mind, that passion for your purpose, your reason for being on earth has not changed, it has only got brighter.?You are not meant to meet it easily, you are meant to climb mountains, seek to understand, and to take that journey, that transformation and share it with the world!?Your challenges are your gifts.
?
That is what will pick you up and moves you forward.
See it.?Feel it. Hear it and know it is you that will take you there..
Speak soon, Kind Regards.
