Plaintiff's Case Dismissed by Connecticut Court. Retailer Victorious in Slip and Fall Case That Hinged on Defect Only 'a Worm or an Ant'? Could Detect

Plaintiff's Case Dismissed by Connecticut Court. Retailer Victorious in Slip and Fall Case That Hinged on Defect Only 'a Worm or an Ant' Could Detect

CLM Engineering Associates is proud to say that we recently assisted our client Mr. Ephraim J. Fink, Esq. on behalf of Marshall Dennehey in the resolution of a Plaintiff's trip and fall matter along the premises of a retail establishment in Old Saybrook, CT. Attorney Fink's client was the Defendant who leased and operated a mattress store within a commercial shopping center. The Plaintiff's side was unable to successfully establish that an actual defect existed at the floor level that constituted an unsafe condition thereby causing a business invitee to trip and fall. (Please see above whereby this case and the decision was cited in yesterday's Connecticut Law Tribune. The full article and decision will be posted to our web-site, www.clmpe.com, by tomorrow).
