In place of traditional concrete pillars are "Eco Pillars" made from plastic waste that has been found to pollute our environment.
In collaboration with Easy Housing , Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (RVO) , CEFORD , and Green Resources AS , with the assistance of UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency , at Rhino Camp Refugee (RE) Settlement in Madi Okollo District, Green Home Plastic is extremely pleased to announce the completion of their foundation housing project using Eco Pillars made from the plastic waste found to be polluting our environment, which is replacing the use of conventional concrete in sustainable building solutions. Through this project, we were able to find ways to employ, educate, and train refugees in the construction industry.
