A place of debates, clashes or even bloody duels.
#twitter users are complaining about seeing more posts on their feeds that they don't want to see, such as entries from users with opposing political, economic, religious, or moral views.
Many users believe this is an error on the part of the algorithms that should be suggesting content and users that they would be happy to follow. However - i guess - this is not an error of the algorithms, but a deliberate change made by Twitter.
I remember when #elonmusk has stated that he wants to "democratize" the platform by creating a space for free and unconditional exchange of thoughts. A place of debates, clashes or even bloody duels.
According to Musk, this will open horizons for opposing views and prevent users from becoming trapped in "bubbles" of similar views and values. He believes that as long as users continue to read only what they already know and like, they will close themselves off to other perspectives and not be aware of what is happening outside of their own bubble.
This change in the algorithms may be frustrating for some users (it pisses me off so much , as they may not want to see posts from people with opposing views. However, it is important to remember that this change is intended to promote diversity of thought and perspective on the platform. It's not about forcing users to agree with each other or even like each other, it's about exposing users to different perspectives and ideas that they may not have been exposed to before, which can be beneficial for personal growth and understanding of the world around us.
Fortunately - as before - we can mute or block annoying guys.
