This pizza will change your life*
While the risk of ordering in is relatively low, making your own pizza is easy and will burn up a few lockdown hours, if not calories. The finished product might even keep your kids off TikTok for 10 minutes.
The secret to this light, tender, crisp and moreish crust is in the sourdough.
Don’t freak. Making sourdough starter is a snap - and once you’ve made it, you will never need to make it again - just feed it, like Audrey II. You will be more excited than Sea Monkeys when you see your first bubbles.
While waiting the 5-7 days for your starter to get going, make the sauce. My favourite is Marcella Hazan’s. Swap a few glugs of olive oil for the butter and cook down a bit longer to get a more spready, less runny consistency. Freezes well.
