Pivoting for the future

Hello Friends, As 2020 winds down, I’d like to share some thoughts. We’ve all been affected by this nightmare of COVID. It’s been a challenge yet the finish line is close. As an optimist, I believe if you look hard you’ll find opportunity to pivot and maybe come out of this thing stronger than we imagined. Each of you reading this understands the power of perseverance. Any of us could have buried our heads, let our employees go, closed the doors and given up. But we didn’t! I’m so proud to still be standing during the crazy adversity of this Pandemic. 

Our Hybrid Road Show has provided us opportunities that we’ve not been able to achieve in the past. New and old Corporate Partners have embraced and supported our group with their trust and gratitude. Our Corporate Partners love us. Our reward will come as we transition back to our coveted live events.

Tensions are high for everyone as we reach this crazy new peak of 13%, hospital beds become scarce and politics drive heartache. A large chunk of our demographic are comprised of 1st Line Responders, Hospital, Law Enforcement, Fire etc.. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to make a few of these people happy and distracted for just a moment of their relentless horrible days. Best yet was the opportunity for us to thank each of them for their service.

Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll see the beginnings of a vaccination process. I believe this will be the first signal of coming normalcy. While we won’t be out of the woods yet, tensions will begin to evade. No matter your thoughts on the subject, many people are looking forward to the vaccine’s arrival as a light at the end of this horrid tunnel. 

Moving forward. As we all relax, politics normalize and Hospital beds free up, our Hybrid Events will be even more visited and enjoyed by our employee members. We’ll further tweak and try new ways to engage our Members. New Corporate Partners are being added and new events are in the works. During the next 3 to 6 months, our Hybrid Events will adapt to blend live and virtual events. Plan A, B, C & D are ready based on particular circumstance of any given event structure. 

For now the best scenario is to work on the marketing tools available to you. That means for now, less energy towards live events that just aren’t happening and more towards on-line Branding, Awareness and our Digital Marketing. Check out your advertising. Make sure it’s up to date and that your happy with the ad copy and images. Add a commitment statement, video, is the Branding spot on.

That’s a lot and I probably could add more but instead I’d like to again tell you how much I appreciate you, your support and friendship. We will continue to work hard to provide our Partners with exclusive advertising opportunities and the best Employee Discount Program ever!!!
