A Pivotal Moment for Apprenticeships

     It was my pleasure to address American Apprenticeship Initiative grantees at the Department of Labor  this week.   Apprenticeships are a powerful and underutilized tool for the U.S. economy and America’s promise of providing economic opportunity for all who are willing to work to advance themselves, their families, and their communities.   The Siemens Foundation is passionate about the work of these grantees, DOL, and the National Governor’s Association Center for Best Practices.  We know momentum from AAI grants is bringing  scale to apprenticeship programs across the country!
