Pivot Into Doing The Work That You Love

I stopped making content recently which gave an odd sensation of needing to 'work' more, but also a nice break to contemplate what I really value in life. I think sometimes we are too afraid of losing our sunk cost into a venture that we never question the work we are doing or make the move to work on the thing that really is the most meaningful for us.

Over the past few months I realized the source of my creative outlet was just more work for me but without the payoff of building the business (the level of client I work with will NEVER be one to watch a YouTube video I post about strategy nor do I want to work and talk about my work for fun). So what I realized is that I need another subject that is all encompassing and that I am passionate about if I were to continue making content.

So how do you go about finding the thing you are most passionate about? That isn't always easy, but for me it was. Go create content that speaks to the person you used to be, about a problem you wish you had of had help with. For me I want to be the best man, father and husband I can be and I didn't get a handbook for that. So I am speaking to the small group of men who don't care about sociaital norms, blaze their own path and want to lead their families on that journey to the happiest life possible to do just that.

So what is the point of this newsletter? The point is to let you know that I realize you joined this newsletter for tips about YouTube, social media and building your brand, but that content is only going to be for my clients or when I am asked to speak at events/podcasts. If you want to learn how to improve your life, become a better parent and build a life where you are confident, successful and happy then you might want to stay on this newsletter. (I'll be chaning the name of it soon).
