It’s a new chatbot—developed by LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman—that offers conversational and emotional support. It serves as a neural listener—asking follow-up questions, and providing advice.
Like other Large Language Models (LLM)’s, Pi can make mistakes or offer the wrong advice—but its primary goal is to support and work through solutions with users.
My prediction is that Pi is a sign of things to come—specialised chatbots with superior utility (rather than the broad scope of ChatGPT).
