Pitching me as a researcher ...

Given that from 1 March 2024, I will be a totally free agent ... it is an ideal time for me to put into practice some of the recent work I have published, namely:

In this article, we apply a researcher profile pitch (RPP) template tool in accounting and across a range of Business School disciplines. We argue that the RPP tool potentially adds meaningful incremental value relative to existing popular platforms for gaining researcher visibility. This additional value derives from the systematic RPP format, combined with the benefit of easy familiarity and strong emphasis on succinctness.

Brief Bio

Robert Faff, FASSA, is Professorial Fellow at Bond University and Emeritus Professor at UQ. He is currently BARDsNet Chair. He has an international reputation in empirical finance research: securing 15 Australian Research Council grants (funding exceeding $4 million); 360+ refereed journal publications – 47 x A* (ABDC); career citations 22,000+ (Google Scholar); with a h-index of 73. His particular passion is nurturing the career trajectories of early career researchers. Robert has supervised almost 50 PhD students to successful completion and examined more than 50 PhD dissertations. Building on a 40-year academic career, his signature focus is “Pitching Research” [https://ssrn.com/abstract=2462059], with worldwide penetration signalled by: (a) 25,000+ SSRN downloads; (b) 400+ pitching talks/events; (c) at 37 Australian universities; and (d) spanning 56 different countries.
