The Pitch
Today we made a pitch. We put on our adult clothes, got the presentation in order, gathered our facts, did a run through (or two) and went and made The Pitch.
Large Booth, Show in NYC - Pricing for "all in". Competitors were there as well. A "bake off". The project (from soup to nuts) is in our wheelhouse.
What do they want? What do they "really" want? How do we convince them that our team is the best & correct solution for what they are asking for?
The challenges are many and you have 30 minutes to "Make Rain".
- Is our pricing lined up with the budget? (Why can't client just share the budget?)
- Do our questions and our presentation meet expectations?
- How can we differentiate ourselves from the competitors?
- Did they hear what we wanted to convey as an idea?
So many questions - And if (when) we get the business we have a better chance on finding out the answers.
