1. What is PiSQUARED?
PiSQUARED is my consultancy company where I help professionals, entrepreneurs, companies, startups to grow the business through strategy & motivation.
I put my experience and knowledge at service to design a bespoke digital strategy, a development plan or simply a mentoring programme.
I am specialised in the superyacht industry. Any company that wants to enter or grow the business in this specific sector can find a valuable partner in me.
At the same time I am capable to work in any other industry. Or help individuals to grow their idea, to create a meaningful and profitable business.
As a coach I can accompany you along the path to overcome the obstacles that will arise.

2. A bit of history
March 14, in the USA is written 3.14, is a particular date for PiSQUARED. It's birthday time!
The brand name PiSQUARED derives from the date.
For those who have not yet connected the dots. Pi is the constant to calculate the circumference and the area of a circle. Its value, stopping only at the first two digits after the decimal point, is 3.14 (i.e. March 14th).
But why squared? Because it comes from the say “squaring the circle”.
Squaring the circle is a problem proposed by ancient geometers. It is the challenge of constructing a square with the same area as a given circle by using only a finite number of steps with compass and straightedge. The difficulty of the problem raised the question of whether specified axioms of Euclidean geometry concerning the existence of lines and circles implied the existence of such a square.
In 1882 the task was proven to be impossible.
But the expression "squaring the circle" is often used to indicate the perfect solution to a given problem.
So PiSQUARED finds the perfect solution to a given problem: from diversification to business development, from startup creation to performance improvement. From strategy to digital marketing, branding, coaching, etc.

3. How to get results
I don't believe in formulas, apart from mathematical ones. I don't think there is a single formula (let alone magical) that can solve a business issue, a poor performance or a growth problem.
Over the years I have collaborated with many companies (see photo on the side) and have always believed in work (hard!), In constant application and in studying specific solutions for each problem for each customer. Every situation is different. It is for this reason that I have developed a circular process that is based on 5 points:
- Analysis
- Strategy
- Execution
- Check results
- Back to point 1
The results I have obtained demonstrate the validity of the method.
For example, when together with OceanLED we developed a worldwide distribution strategy. In 12 months we have increased turnover by + 40% and maintained constant growth of 20% per year for the next 4 consecutive years.
Or in the case of John Cullen Lighting where the company had the desire to enter the superyacht market and create an ad-hoc division to meet the demands (especially custom) of the market. In 3 years we have supplied products for the construction of 30+ superyachts for a total length (one yacht after the other) of over 2500m (an average of 70m each yacht!). In addition we won prestigious awards as the best lighting.

4. Experience makes the expert

Experience provides the knowledge to develop the skills necessary to cope with the situations. And the more experience you accumulate, the more skills and knowledge you acquire. It becomes a virtuous circle in which today as a consultant I feel much more prepared and ready than when I started my business.
Each new project allows me to gather new information and notions which I then study in detail and apply to the next client.
I have seen too often professionals trapped in their day-to-day tasks unable to see beyond the box. Success is a combination of vision, confidence, commitment, planning, passion, perseverance and resilience.
I am specialised in the superyacht, hospitality, high-end residential and luxury industries where I know a wide network of professionals from shipyards to designers, from contractors to 7-stars hotels, from bespoke decorative artworks to owner representatives, from brokers to charter companies, from luxury watches to high security safes.
