Pipl helping People

Recently, my company started a program to help non-profits out called Pipl helping People. Yesterday we were privileged to have Molly Dalpae, who is the executive director of our local program. She shared some great stories that pulled at all of our heartstrings. For instance, many seniors that receive food will give a third of it to their pets because they do not have money for pet food. MoW saw this as another need and now helps them out with food for their pets. They even help out those who are homeless. Can you imagine being homeless at 91? I don't know what I would do. We are doing a fundraiser now and the company is matching dollar for dollar. As you can imaging it is expensive feeding 330 people a day.

The Meals on Wheels Spokane program has been delivering hot, nutritious meals to elderly, disabled, homebound seniors in Spokane since 1967. It is a great organization and fills a need in our community.
