PIPESIM model building and automation using Python scripting: Build your own digital twin
Ahmad Shammari
Principal Production Engineer | Product Champion, Pipesim multiphase flow simulator
Please join our webinar for an introduction to the practical use of Python scripting to model and automate PIPESIM simulations.
The sessions will each last 60 minutes, including a presentation and Q&A.
Abstract
Oil and gas industry digitalization requires flexibility and a high degree of automation for simulation processes. Routine operations like data exchange and model validation and update are becoming automated, which allows engineers to focus on decision-making following multivariate analyses.
The Python Toolkit is a powerful API that is integrated with PIPESIM and used for automatic model building and updates, as well as running simulation tasks for well and network models. Python, which is one of the most common scripting languages in the industry today simplifies and facilitates these types of workflows, while the connection with Excel makes it useful in everyday engineering work.
?This webinar will provide an overview of the PIPESIM Python Toolkit and a demonstration of several case studies installed with PIPESIM. In addition, there will be a live demo of script development with a focus on Python-Excel data exchange, performing simulations, and result analysis.
