Welcome back LinkedIn to another edition of our weekly newsletter, Pipeline-Picks! With the new wave of followers we’ve gained to the page, we thought it was best to answer some of our top 3 FAQs!

One thing we get asked all the time is ‘What time is you cut off and when will my order be delivered?’

Out cut off for tube orders is 3pm and the cut off for all orders is 4pm! Even though we do tell our customers that these times are our cut off, we’re always happy to go the extra mile if we can and process orders later!

If you need an order dispatched as soon as possible, give our sales team a call on 01275 408912 so we can ensure your order is more likely to leave us the same day!

For delivery, all domestic orders are dispatched on a next day delivery service. Orders going to Ireland and Northern Ireland are dispatched on a 2-day service, and for all international orders, we give a 3-5 day lead time!

If for any reason there is a lead time on your order, the sales team will inform you in your order confirmation with a date of when to expect your goods.

Last but not least...the question we’re asked every day! ‘What is the standard seal for my union?’

Whilst we stock a range of materials for each of our hygienic unions such as PTFE, Silicone, Viton, we know that something people need the ‘standard seal’!

RJT & IDF – Both of these unions come as standard with a black Nitrile seal! On our website, the RJT seals are A100 and the IDF seals are B100!

DIN – DIN unions come as standard with a blue NBR joint ring. Our product code for these is D07!

Clamp & SMS – Both our Clamp unions and SMS are sold as standard with a blue EPDM seal. Our clamp seal code for these is E03, and the SMS seals are C07!

We’re also frequently asked ‘How do I find the dimension of the product I need and how do I know which material is best?’

To help you have easy access to the information you need, we have all our datasheets attached with the product on our website! For example, if you’re looking for a 2” 90° bend online and need its length, the datasheet will be shown on the right hand side of the page below the size listings.

For our joint rings, we appreciate it can be frustrating to find the right seal material! That’s why we created a seal performance chart, and a rubber performance chart, providing information on which materials are suited to your application.
