Pip Decks Pro - the format you've been waiting for

After maybe a year in development the Pip Decks app did a soft launch and then stepped back for a sec, but that doesn't mean you can't get access to early online parts of the app. Each time you purchase a deck, you gain the ability to log in to the prototype app for that deck.

The final platform will include the current main decks Brand Tactics, Innovation Tactics, Productivity Tactics, Team Tactics, Storyteller Tactics, Workshop Tactics, and Strategy Tactics in an easy-to-access app that you can take with you on-the-go. Pip Decks have long used the idea that when you've got a deck of recipes in each of these skill areas, it provides you the processes necessary to tackle business challenges faster and with better results than trying to think up what to do before taking action. While true in many cases, as the number of decks has grown, it has become more and more difficult to simply "carry them around in your pocket." Now, with the new app, you can, and with pricing at $29.99 USD per month, it makes access that much easier. Get 15% off the full set of Pip Decks today plus tax.

Customers get the decks in their phone, on their computer, and access to the videos, miro boards, and tutorials that are so valuable in solving challenges across a range of work challenges.

A Backgrounder on Pip Decks

Pip Decks started with the Workshop Tactics deck written by ?? Charles Burdett . Coming from a background in user experience design, Charles began work on tools that would help teams work together better by providing simple processes that are time-delimited but that can have powerful results in terms of creating outcomes.

Charles didn't rely solely on his own knowledge and experience. He started bringing in others. Having worked as a UX designer for the BBC, he brought in long-time journalist Steve Rawling to author a deck on Storyteller Tactics. Drawing from his experience taking everyday events and turning them into powerful journalistic stories, and his work consulting with businesses on how to best package and present their business stories, Steve put together a deck that serves not just business and nonprofit storytellers, but everyday people who want to get their point across. The techniques draw from ancient history to the best pitch deck formats used in recent years by venture capital-seeking startups.

Workshop Tactics is great if your team is aligned and ready to work, but what do you do when teams are new, trying to sort out roles, or stuck in seemingly intractable conflicts with one another?

Dave Cunningham , an experienced product and service designer, came on to author a deck on Team Tactics. The deck helps move beyond finger-pointing to collaboration and the improvement of self and others. The combination of Team Tactics and Workshop tactics is a one-two punch for any organization working to work together better AND sort out what needs to be done, who is going to do it, and how outcomes will be assessed and new projects started.

Strategy Tactics is a deck co-authored by collaborators Ben Mosior and David Holl . The deck combines traditional strategic thinking with an approach to mapping strategic challenges called Wardley Mapping. It also draws influence from social and cognitive design models including Transformation Design. Because of this, the authors have described the deck as a way to "democratize strategic thinking." Rather than holding these ideas aloft for senior leadership, academics, or specialized research divisions, the deck provides a path to thinking dynamically about your scenario, who it impacts, what needs participants have, what tools are necessary, and how complex or simple it could be to make new solutions or use existing ones. The deck provides a dynamic way to break down and work through solving challenges.

Tom Kerwin was working on a Pip Deck addressing Innovation Tactics around the same time that Ben and David were working on Strategy Tactics. Innovation Tactics draws from a number of disciplines including product design, usability, design research, market fit testing, and more. His deck is littered with clues - pull quotes from the likes of Geoffrey Moore and Stewart Butterfield. A quick search of the various thinkers and designers quoted in the deck creates a worthy library checklist for anyone ready to go deeper. If you are looking at a problem and wondering what you might make that could solve the problem better, this is the deck for you.

But what should your brand do when it comes to what to produce, how to produce it, and how to present it in the market? Brand strategist Alex M H Smith wrote the Brand Tactics deck to give founders, teams, and business leaders a roadmap for developing and building a brand. The deck follows the brand process from discovering your unique differentiators through building all of the brand assets you should have in your toolkit to allowing the brand itself to stand alone and become the beacon for your organization. Brands aren't just for businesses, and the deck allows for anyone from an activist, influencer, writer, designer, or business person to develop a unique an standout brand.

So, what should you do when you have so many tasks you don't know which way is up? Enter Productivity Tactics, a deck with tools to help you make the most of your time, have better meetings by getting your blood flowing, overcome false ideas like "multitasking is efficient!" and break through procrastination.
